Hobart cheapest place to purchase a property: CoreLogic

Hobart is the cheapest place to purchase a unit, according to CoreLogic’s latest weekly report.

The property advisory firm says that the average median private treaty price for a unit in Hobart is $262,000 compared to Sydney’s $710,000.

For houses the cheapest place to buy one is also Hobart with an average median price of $375,500 compared to Sydney’s $940,000.

A three bedroom home at 143 Davey Street (above) sold for $365,000 is an example of what buyers can expect when looking for a home in Hobart.
