The Hemsworth brothers have snappily sold their stunning Malibu base after five years ownership.

The property is in the name of Chris, his wife Elsa Pataky, Liam and Luke.

It sold for $6.28 million (USD$4.9 million) through The Agency.

They had paid $4.42 million in 2016.

The modern home sits on 5050 sqm of land with views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Mountains.

The four-bedroom, four bathroom estate at 6315 Gayton Place, was built in 1979, spanning 4,612 square feet across an open-floor plan. 

Hemsworth and Pataky previously owned nearby which they bought for US$4.8 million from movie star Paul Hogan, which they sold in 2016 for US$7 million.
