The 1900's era trophy home Quamby in Hawthorn's exclusive Grace Park Estate has sold at auction.

Last sold for $410,000 in 1994, the house has/had been offered for sale on and off since 2017 seeking around $4.5 million - $5 million.

It was unsuccessful at auction in 2017 but this time around with a price guide of $4.2 million - $4.5 million the resdence sold for $4,545,000

Situated at 58 Mary Street, the four bedroom three bathroom home sits on a 780 sqm block.

The listing describes the home as "reminiscent of a French country homestead."

A tessellated return veranda envelopes the home, overlooking gardens and a salt-water pool.

Scott Patterso and Sam Wilkinson of Kay & Burton marketed the home in this latest auction campaign.
