A  harbourfront apartment comprising of an entire floor in Darling Point is on the market for the first time in over 40 years.

It has a price guide of $6 million plus.

Apartment 1A and 1B of 73 Yarranabbe Road was originally two units but was renovated into a five-bedroom, four-bathroom ground floor home.

The home features a CaesarStone entertainer’s kitchen and a waterfront garden and pool boasting views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and the CBD.

The vendor Judith Brand runs Tieve Tara, an extensive garden project in Mount Macedon.

Tieve Tara has been featured on Gardening Australia, Coxy’s Big Break and Getaway.

The most expensive sale in the complex was the four-bedroom penthouse, which sold in March last year for $7 million.

Victoria Green of Laing+Simmons Double Bay says the penthouse had been completely gutted and renovated.

The ground floor apartment is listed for August 24 auction through Victoria Green of Laing+Simmons Double Bay in conjunction with Michael Pallier of Sydney Sothebys International Realty.

The median apartment price in Darling Point is $1.3 million, a 13.3% decline in five years, according to RP Data.
