Bantry, the Burradoo retreat of former federal government minister-turned-political commentator Graham Richardson and his estranged wife, Cheryl, has been sold.

It was listed at $1.3 million through Lindsay Real Estate in conjunction with Margaret McCauley Real Estate.

Its reputed sale price was $1.2 million.

The 4.5-hectare Bantry cost $725,000 in 1995.

Just a quick walk from the popular pub The Briars, the four-bedroom Bundaroo house is a relocated 1885 homestead.

Title Tattle recalls Graham Richardson planted many trees outside his own Southern Highlands residence given it needed to be protected from the Moss Vale Road traffic noise.
