Political activist turned Future Super boss Simon Sheikh and his author wife Anna Rose have bought in Randwick, spending $3.18 million on a modernised 1930s Californian bungalow.

With a price guide of $2.8 million, it was snapped up in 11 days.

Set on 435 square metres, the three-bedroom home with wide hallways and high ornate ceilings has a number of living areas and a kitchen that opens to a deck and lawn.

It was the longtime home of former Virgin Mobile CEO David Scribner, who has emerged as the $3.98 million buyer of Jets swimwear designer Jessika Allen’s Queens Park home.
