Former Sydney Swan midfielder Ben McGlynn, now senior coach of VFL side Sandringham in Melbourne, has finally offloaded his Coogee investment apartment.

The off-market sale, secured by Tristan Oddi at Phillips Pantzer Donnelley, was nearly two years in the making.

There has been no price reveal, but McGlynn had initially been seeking $1.05 million when listed in January 2018 with a different agency.

He turned down a $1 million offer for the two-bedroom unit that had cost him $590,000 in 2010, just after he arrived in Sydney in 2006.
