Former Seven head of sport Saul Shtein heads east

Saul Shtein, the departing head of sport at Channel 7, and his wife Deborah, have sold in Castle Cove for $3.35 million.

The couple have spent $3.25 million on a whole floor, three-bedroom garden apartment through estate agent Paul Biller.

The settlement and downsizing to Rose Bay came the same week Shtein lost his job through redundancy.

The Shteins had been at their Castle Cove residence for two decades, having paid $1,225,000 for a 1930s home in 1999.

Stein brought MTV to Australia but is best known as Seven’s head of sport for 15 years.
