The Hawthorne home of former AFL Brisbane Lion's coach Justin Leppitsch and wife Christie is under contract.

Leppitsch, who was released by the Lions in late 2016 after three years at the helm, paid $1.3 million for the six bedroom home in 2014.

Justin and Christie spent two years renovating the Queenslander at 24 Forbes Street, however they maintained traditional features such as the VJ walls, polished wooden floors and high ceilings.

A saltwater pool and cubby house make up the backyard on the 810 square metre parcel.

Place Bulimba Simon Dean had a $1.6 million buyers guide on the home.

Leppitsch, who played over 220 games for the Brisbane Bears and Lions, has teamed up with the Richmond Tigers as the assistant coach.

Another former Brisbane Lion coach, Michael Voss and wife Donna, are selling their Coorparoo home, Nu Haven.

The couple paid $2.55 million for the five bedroom family entertainer in 2009 when Voss took over as head coach at the Lions.

It became a $1,200 a week rental at the end of 2015.

The home was listed through Place Bulimba by Voss who has returned to AFL coaching as Port Adelaide's midfield manager.
