The Flinders home of retired art gallery owners Tony and Rose Osbourne is on the market.

The couple paid $765,000 for the 20 hectares in 1996.

Offering views over the paddocks to the sea, the rural property, complete with main house and guest cottage, is surrounded by old-fashioned country gardens down a privately sealed road.

Designed by architect Jamie Learmonth, the pavilion-style home features timber decks, a large entry hall and courtyard with fish pond.

The main house has three bedrooms with the guest cottage adding another.

Suited to various rural pursuits, the property offers well fenced paddocks with troughs, an Olympic0sized horse arena, stables, tack room, large spring-fed dam, electric fencing, machinery shed and a workshop.

Prue McLaughlin and Rollo Moore have the listing of 185 Meakins Road with an asking price of $5 million plus.
