Fashion stylist Ken Thompson, the fashion director of Wish magazine who advised readers that men should try bold winter bow ties and women should be in spotted blouses, has his three-bedroom Potts Point apartment for June 22 auction.

More than $840,000 is tipped for the 85-square-metre pad.

It's on the fifth floor of the Emil Sodersten-designed art deco building which is undergoing a few serious repairs.

The block's last sale was a slightly smaller three-bedroom third floor apartment for $840,000.

The north-west corner apartment has been listed through Nicholas Tsaoucis of Richardson & Wrench Elizabeth Bay.
