Denis Savill lists whole-floor apartment
Art dealer Denis Savill has listed his Wiston, Darling Point whole floor apartment given his continued need for storage space for his Australian art acquisitions.
It would seem the large garage at a Stephen Gergely-designed Bellevue Hill residence snapped up for $6.5 million pre-auction fits the need nicely. Sotheby’s agent Tony Barron secured the deal following the death last year of Best & Less founder Berel Ginges.
Savill’s three bedroom Darling Point home with partner, Anne Clarke is set for October 12 auction with $2.3 million plus hopes. He and Tony go back four decades when Barron was with Raine & Horne and Denis at LJ Hooker in Double Bay.
