Dea and Darren Jolly, stars of past series of Channel 9 show, The Block sold their Melbourne home at weekend auction.

They pocketed a nice gain from the sale of their Kew East-rebuild with a $2.908 million auction result, at $60,000 above reserve.

They'd spent a year and about $1 million rebuilding the 1920s California bungalow after purchasing it in a rundown state for $1.395 million in June last year.
