David Hyde Pierce, better known as Dr Niles Crane from Frasier, has listed his 1929-built Los Angeles mansion for US$7.5 million.

The 760 square metre home has eight bathrooms and comes with a wine vault and a cozy home theatre perfect for watching Frasier reruns.

The property also includes a separate guest house on the 3700 square metre block of land.

The couple might be poised to move to New York City where they own a penthouse apartment they bought in 2005 for US$2.5 million. After buying that they spent US$772,000 in 2006 on a 3.5 room apartment on the floor below.

They recently bought an ocean front house in Amagansett  for US$6.3 million in 2010.
