Auctioneer Damien Cooley will launch the Cooley Auction Centre CBD next Thursday.

The centre will be a venue to trade commercial, industrial, retail, rural, hotel, investment, or residential property in Sydney CBD, said a media release.

The auction room is located on level 5 of One Margaret Street Sydney building. It will be the premier location to auction real estate.

“We are passionate and dedicated to providing the best service for our clients and we are very excited to launch this premier auction venue in the CBD,” said Cooley.

The company says it is the largest independent auction company in Australia, conducting more than 6,000 auctions annually.

The new auction centre is equipped with high definition audio-visual displays and has purpose-built premium meeting rooms.

“Agents across all commercial property sectors, including retail, industrial, rural, hotels and more can rely on our weekly auctions providing the perfect platform to represent their clients and to achieve the very best results.”

Director and auctioneer Damien Cooley started Cooley Auctions over a decade back.

The company says it has a market share of more than 40% in the Sydney Eastern Suburbs market. In the 2014/15 financial year, Damien Cooley was personally booked to auction 2,220 properties and sold a $2.2 billion worth of real estate.

Last year, he was awarded Auctioneer of the Year at the Australian Real Estate Business Awards.
