Cubec Clothing leases Little Collins site

Melbourne fashion label Cubec Clothing is opening a new Melbourne premises.

It has negotiated a lease for a 50-square metre shop at 144 Little Collins with an initial rent of $1900 per square metre.

An investor paid $1.45 million for the ground-floor retail space in April this year.

It is in the Fender Katsalidis designed Hero apartment building.

At the time of sale the shop was leased to Pilkington Jewellers at a rent of $89,900 per annum.

CBRE's Josh Rutman and Ed Wight negotiated the sale and the seven-year lease was negotiated by Zelman Ainsworth and Cam Taranto from CBRE as well.
