Costa family secures $5 million plus in Newtown

More than $5 million has been secured by the Costa family for a five-bedroom mansion amid the family’s Geelong heartland.

The 1-3 Whyte Court, Newtown, property was sold by Suzanne Costa, one of Frank Costa’s eight daughters.

She bought it from the family for $2.3 million back in 2011.

It sold to a local businessman with five children.

The house was listed with a $5.8m price tag.

It features a tennis court and pavilion, gym and sauna.

Frank Costa was responsible for creating one of largest service wholesaler of fruit and vegetables in the country.
