The comedian Carl Barron has secured the snappy sale of his luxury Potts Point apartment.

There’s no price reveal yet, but he had been seeking $5.5 million buyers for his 16th-floor unit in Rockwall Apartments through Richardson & Wrench.

Barron, who is Australia’s biggest live touring comedian, paid $4 million in 2013.

The three-bedroom apartment has a bow-fronted sunroom capturing all the Harbour Bridge and Opera House night-time Vivid views.

The no-frills funnyman, just back from a recent European tour which included Oslo, Antwerp and Amsterdam, was paying strata levies of $5792 per quarter.

Barron retains an apartment around the corner in Ikon on Macleay Street, which cost $1,825,000 in 2008.

He may spend more time in the Southern Highlands, where he has an 8 hectare hideaway at Mount Murray, which cost $1.755 million in 2017. He once said that if he had more time, he’d take up bird watching.
