A classic 1920s Palm Beach cottage with only two previous owners has been sold for $4,340,000.

The Florida Road property dates back nearly 100 years with its original hardwood floors, panelled walls and sandstone fireplace.

The 1,305 sqm parcel of land features an elegant interior, a kitchen, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms inside the single level layout house, and rolling lawns outside.

The elevated position of the property allows for clear views of Palm Beach which is a ten minute walk away.

It was listed for the first time since the 1960s when sold through Ray White estate agents Noel Nicholson and Tom Fernon.
