Claremont, built circa 1843, is one of the prized Tasmanian residential jewels.

Located at 13 Claremont Street, Launceston, it is hidden away amongst the seclusion of the 100 year old trees.

The home, set on one and half acres of gardens, has 100 squares of living space that has retained its distinctive mid-nineteenth century features.

Since it last sold for $1,550,000 in early 2012 empty, (below) Claremont has been given roof, plumbing and wiring upgrades.
