Carlton Football Club vice-president Richard Newton and his wife are selling their five-bedroom apartment on St Kilda Road for $9 million.

Only moments from the Melbourne CBD, the 15th floor 600-square-metre apartment boasts 270-degree views of the city to the bay.

The property features two living areas, two marbled kitchens with Gaggenau appliances and four bathrooms.

The couple purchased the property around three and a half years ago and are looking to downsize as the last of their children have moved out.

The original layout comprised of three apartments but was redesigned to make a sky high home with front and back enclosed balconies.

The apartment has access to the communal gym, sauna and swimming pool.

The St Kilda Road home is listed through Andrew Baines and Jane Galatea of Kay and Burton.
