A Canning Street, Carlton terrace has been listed for auction with $2.2 million to $2.4 million hopes.

Set on a wide avenue with a centre plantation, the grand 1880s balconied terrace has been modernised by a Basset Lobaza makeover.

It has three bedrooms.

There is a central living room, contemporary stone/AEG kitchen and a dining area downstairs that opens to a courtyard.

Woodard agent Jason Sharpe takes 570 Canning Street to June 24 auction.

It last sold in 2012 at $1.5 million.
