Michael Jones, the former Brumbies boss, is selling his Canberra house as he heads overseas.

The five bedroom residence in Forrest is expected to sell for more than $2 million at next month’s auction.

Jones was “reluctantly” leaving the national capital, with a new job lined up in the US in the new year.

Jones and his wife, Michelle, bought their home soon after he took up his post with the Brumbies in early 2015.

The contemporary house was designed by Collins Caddaye Architects about five years ago for its 2663 square metre block.

LJ Hooker Manuka selling agent Stephen Thompson takes it to December 10 auction.
