Burnside, the Scone district farm, sold at its recent auction for $1.25 million.

The 220 ha Upper Dartbrook property, some 15 minutes from Scone, sits in a valley suitable for cattle and horses.

The property is subdivided into seven paddocks.

With well drained alluvial soils, the flats flanking the Dartbrook Creek were marketed by McCallum Inglis as ideal for irrigation pursuit.

The house set in an elevated position overlooking the creek, comprises two bedrooms, with enclosed verandas. There is also an adjoining two bedroom cottage.

Last year the clip for a music single called "Shout the land a drink" was filmed in Upper Dartbrook. It was the brainchild of Golden Guitar winner Matt Scullion and performed by "The Hay Balers," with all profits going to drought stricken farming communities across NSW.
