Bronwyn Bishop seeks Potts Point tenants

Retired veteran Liberal politician Bronwyn Bishop is seeking tenants for her long-held Potts Point investment apartment.

She’s hoping to buck the trend of the falling Sydney rental market, asking $660-a-week, up from the $650-a-week it had been listed for in 2018.

The two-bedroom Macleay Gardens apartment has seen a steady increase over the years.

The only time it went backwards in asking rent was in 2010 when she sought $500-a-week tenants, down from the $510 in 2007.

Bishop, who was a federal MP for almost three decades, paid $268,000 for the apartment in 1996.
