A waterfront trophy apartment on NSW’s Central Coast has sold for a record-breaking $2.45 million.

Located at 2/372 Booker Bay Road, the Booker Bay property beat the peninsula region apartment record by $350,000.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence was designed by architect Darren Tve.

Its modern design includes sleek interiors, an oversized outdoor living room and expansive lawns.

The home was ideal as a no-maintenance weekender but was purchased by a Sydney holiday homebuyer who plans to rent the property.

Belle Property’s Cathy Baker, who marketed the listing, said that she has seen an upswing of sales in the region amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Baker noted a trend of Sydney buyers snapping up holiday houses on the Central Coast.

“We’ve had our busiest winter ever, closing a year’s worth of property sales in two months,” she said.

The homes other offerings included water views framed by Norfolk pines, off-form concrete walls, and heated bathroom floors.

Cathy Baker also holds the listing for the penthouse apartment in the same block, which is now being sold off market.
