Banned NRL star Jarrod Mullen sells second property in two months

The former Newcastle Knights halfback Jarrod Mullen and wife Rachael have sold their Merewether home.

Mullen, who was handed a four year ban for testing positive to steroids earlier this year, paid $825,000 for the home in 2011.

The double storey home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms was renovated and extended in 2016.

A price reduction, from $2.4 million to $2.6 million hopes to $2.2 million to $2.3 million, assisted the sale through Ben Robinson at Robinson Property.

It's the second property Mullen has sold in as many months.

He sold his Newcastle investment apartment for $640,000. He bought the unit in 2006, a year after signing his first professional contract with the Knights.
