Author Jacquie Everitt finally sells Darlinghurst terrace
The Darlinghurst terrace of human rights lawyer and author Jacquie Everitt and her husband, Tim Ashton, of the polo playing family, has finally been sold.
The corner Victorian terrace, which comes with grand limestone double-door entry foyer, last traded in 2003 for $645,000.
The four bedroom residence had $2.65 million plus hopes last November, with the recent re-listing through Charlie Beaumont and Alexander Phillips at Phillips Pantzer Donnelly putting $2,225,000 hopes on the Womerah Avenue listing.
Jacquie Everitt wrote the 2008 book, The Bitter Shore, which recounted the long battle she had with the Australian Government to release a Villawood interned refugee.
Everitt got a law degree to bolster her journalistic qualifications after working in East Timor running a humanitarian aid organisation.
