The land title of the $100 million Double Bay harbourfront mansion sold to tech billionaire Mike Cannon-Brookes and his wife Annie last September has now been mortgaged.

The mortgage was taken last month with Credit Suisse, the amount unknown.

Fairwater had previously been owned by the Fairfax family for more than 100 years.

There have been no renovation plans yet lodged for the estate.

The couple sold their Centennial Park home last year for $16.5 million to art patrons Dr Gene and Brian Sherman, who then sold their 1880s Woollahra residence to sleep medicine specialist Malcolm Ogborne.
