Ard Rudah, a 2.4-hectare hillside 1870s Mount Macedon landmark, has been listed for sale.

The seven bedroom, six bathroom trophy home was recently refurbished by Stephen Akehurst.

The grounds have established gardens, stables, tennis court, ferny creek pools and ponds.

About $5 million is tipped.

The grounds were established in the 1870s under the guidance of Baron Von Muller.
