The Merricks North estate, Ambleside, on the Mornington Peninsula remains listed for sale.

Set on 85 hectares overlooking Western Port Bay, the inland holding has been marketed as one of the region's finest properties.

Kay & Burton's David Heathcote had been quoting more than $12 million for the Ambleside estate with expressions of interest closing May 18.

The seven bedroom, five bathroom homestead was designed by Stephen Akehurst in the late 1990s.
