Award-winning Canberra builder-developer JWLand is nearing completion of De Burgh, the third and final residential stage of its thriving Lyneham masterplan, Northbourne Village.

The apartments at De Burgh will be among the newest residences available in Canberra when construction finishes later this year. With construction fast approaching, for a limited time, JWLand is offering prospective buyers the opportunity to secure an apartment for just $5,000, with the rest due on settlement.

The burgeoning developer has catered to a wide range of buyers at De Burgh, offering every apartment configuration imaginable—from smartly designed studios to spacious dual-level, loft-style apartments.

The two nine-level buildings that make up De Burgh were designed to complement the already completed and sold-out buildings within the Northbourne Village precinct. The buildings rise to nine levels but step down to six toward De Burgh Street, allowing upper-level residences to enjoy larger balconies and sweeping views over Sullivans Creek.

Each apartment is designed to maximise natural light while minimising overlooking. Living areas extend to generous outdoor spaces, with upper-level residences featuring terraces or balconies, and ground-level apartments offering private courtyards.

While Northbourne Village already delivers convenience and amenity on the doorstep — including several cafes, restaurants, and the light rail all within walking distance — De Burgh will offer residents exclusive facilities spread across the two buildings. These include a rooftop garden with barbecue facilities, a fully equipped gym, a residents’ lounge, and a parcel locker service.

In a move to enhance everyday living, JWLand has placed a strong focus on resident lifestyle. There will be a smartphone app that will allow residents to control lighting and air conditioning remotely as standard.

JWLand’s in-house construction team is forecasting completion in Q3 2025, with all residents expected to move in well before Christmas.
