ABC news presenter Juanita Phillips and partner, retired Labor government minister Greg Combet, have sold their Neutral Bay home in double quick time.

The 1910s Federation cottage has been transformed under their ownership. It is now a charming freestanding home, updated with contemporary interiors.

Phillips paid $1.71 million for the three bedroom home property with home office in 2015. Combet took a 10 percent stake in the home last year costing $185,000.

A partially covered alfresco entertaining deck overlooks the manicured gardens which feature a self-contained studio.

The home spent just 17 days on the market with McGrath agents Piers van Hamburg and Nicole Grady-Combes.

They had a guide of around $2 million, cheaper than the $2,275,000 median price of a three bedroom home in Neutral Bay

Phillips and Combet have been together since 2012.
