A renovator's delight, what would you do?

Property ObserverOctober 8, 2013

On yesterday's poll of the day, we asked readers to guess which Australian celebrity grew up a six-bedroom Bellevue Hill home.

The correct answer was Julian McMahon, with 66.5% of readers guessing corrently. The actor is best known for playing surgeon Christian Troy on the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning TV show Nip/Tuck.

Property Observer had previously covered the sale of the home back in June 2011, reporting that "the Australian actor and former fashion model grew up in the Bellevue Hill home, which was bought in 1968, the year of his birth, by his parents, Lady (Sonia) McMahon and former prime minister Sir William McMahon."

On today's poll, a two-bedroom apartment on the Avenue in Windsor is scheduled to go under the hammer with a $390,000 to $420,000 price guide.

The ground floor unit features a north facing balcony and exposed concrete floors.

The advert by Lachlan Castran of Castran Gilbert says the “property awaits some creative touch and TLC.”

We would like to know what you would do to this empty shell.
