Last Wednesday evening marked the final Night Market hosted at the Queen Vic over a prolonged summer season due to the fine weather spell. Their website provides a brief overview, Now in its 15th year, the Suzuki Night Market attracts over 200 stall holders and showcases some of Melbourne’s finest artisans, producing locally made clothing, jewellery, prints and an array of cultural goods. I must admit i'm not much for jewellery and the like, but the food stalls and entertainment are second to none.

This summer may have come and gone but next summer season at the Night Market promises to be bigger and better, as all that have passed previously. Find below a photographic essay taken over a number of hot and humid wednesday evenings with a particular slant toward food... bring on next summer!
