An architect designed Paddington home of a Eileen Jones, a former speech writer for two Queensland Governors, Eileen Jones has hit the market in Brisbane. 

Judi O'Dea and Michael Klemeyer of Ray White Paddington have the listing.

“My husband and I bought the land in 1986, we built the house and moved in, in 1988.

“It was very convenient for me, being close to Government House,” Ms Jones said.

Being a top speech writer for more than seven years, her first speeches were for Sir Walter Campbell AC, QC who had been previously been the Chief Justice in Queensland, before becoming the Governor in 1985.
