No wonder the Queensland-bound Greg Wilkinson, co-founder of accounting software giant Reckon, and wife Sally snappily sold their Balmain East waterfront reserve home.
Seeking $6.3 million for the luxury resort-style home, they pocketed $6.8 million from Yongying Huang who faced a strong local peninsula buyer.
BresicWhitney’s Adrian Oddi and Andrew Liddell marketed the Gilchrist Place home which Wilkinson bought in 2003 for $2,875,000.
Each of the four bedrooms has water views and the master bedroom has an ensuite and dressing room.
There’s a home office, a media den and a steam room.
Balmain East has had just eight prior sales above $5 million, peaking at $11.8 million in 2014.
