Bryant Plavsic, a corporate adviser at Evello Partners, has emerged as the $8 million buyer of the Centennial Park mansion, Warwick.

The Martin Rd property was sold by the Ross family ahead of its March auction through The Agency’s Ben Collier.

Warwick, the modernised trophy home, was once owned by the University of NSW as its residence for its Vice-Chancellor.

The university sold it for $5.1 million in 2005 having bought it for $3.8 million in 2002 from the Kemeny family.

Plavsic earned a bachelor of commerce with first class honours from the university where he was the top graduate of his year.

The Federation mansion, on an 828sqm block, had an $8 million guide, with Plavsic having also considered a home on Robertson Road recently sold by TV producer Nick Murray.

There have been 10 sales at $8 million or higher, with six of them above $10 million, over the past 13 years.
