The Queensland based homebuilder PRIVIUM Homes has signed a sponsorship deal with A-League team the Newcastle Jets.

The deal, valued at more than $225,000, forms part of the company’s expansion into the Newcastle Hunter region.

PRIVIUM have plans to open a new display home in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Cameron Park on 23 March 2019.

The deal represents the first shirt sponsorship the Jets have secured since Chinese businessman Martin Lee purchased the club from the Football Federation of Australia in July 2016.

It will also include featuring the PRIVIUM brand logo on LED rotation signage at Newcastle Jets Home Games, on the pitch side digital advertising board, and online, in the Jets newsletter, and on the media backdrop for the Newcastle Jets.

Company founder and CEO of PRIVIUM Homes, Robert Harder, said the group is working to expand its reach in Newcastle and other regional locations in NSW.

“With 22 years of heritage, PRIVIUM Homes is continuing to expand our reach,” said Harder.

“Having the opportunity to sponsor the Newcastle Jets allows us to demonstrate our commitment to supporting communities, while helping to build recognition of the PRIVIUM brand.”

Jets CEO Lawrie McKinna says the deal is a massive boost for the team.

“It’s important for us as a club to work with brands that have values that align with our own and have a heritage that helps to build the presence of community,” Mckinna said.

The Jets were grand finalists in the 2017/18 season and have 11,622 members.

They currently are ranked seventh place on the A-League Table.
