The chairman of chocolate manufacturer Yowie, Louis Carroll, has sold his Seaforth home.

The Hamptons-style home was listed with $7 million hopes by the veteran property player.

The Grandview Grove house cost $5.2 million when bought from Brand New Media chief Perry Smith and his wife, Greta in 2016.

It was a downsize from his $6.5 million Bayview home, one of his many impressive North Shore homes over the years.

Carroll and wife, Christine Lang had listed it with Maria Cassarino of Stone Real Estate.

Carroll has also co-founded a number of start-ups.
