Newcastle Knights newest recruit Dave Klemmer has bought a home near his new club having signed a five year deal with the Knights late last year.

The 25 year old former Canterbury Bulldogs enforcer has bought a family home in Eleebana, in the Lake Macquarie region.

He's spent $1,025,000 on the home which sits 16 kilometres south west of his new stomping ground.

The 2000 built, two level property has four bedrooms, including a parents retreat with ensuite and walk in wardrobe that opens to an outdoor terrace with expansive views of Lake Macquarie.

Klemmer snapped the home up just two weeks into its marketing through Marshalls Property Belmont agents Keenan Armstrong and Abbey Page.

It was the same year Klemmer made his debut at the Bulldogs, having signed with the Canterbury-Bankstown club when he was just 15.

Klemmer has gone on to become a permanent fixture in the NSW Origin side and the Kangaroo's.

Klemmer told the Daily Telegraph earlier this week he believes the Knights can win the premiership this year.
