Channel 7 Sunrise news presenter Natalie Barr and husband, television commercial editor Andrew Thompson, have decided to stay in Mosman as renters, after selling their home late last year.

They’ve secured a five-bedroom home just 700m from their former $3.6 million abode.

The rental home, a short stroll from Sirius Cove, was advertised for rent at $2500 a week through Richardson & Wrench leasing agent Robert Simeon.

It last traded for $1.85 million in 2002. There’s an open-plan living area with fireplace and a veranda opens to a level garden in the no pets home.

The couple, along with their two children, have been on the Mosman merry-go-round for the past few years.

They sold for $3.6 million, having paid $3,235,000 just two years earlier for the unrenovated 1910 Federation home.

Their first Mosman home, bought for $1.28 million in 2002 fetched $2,891,999 in 2016.

Mosman is a hot spot for television personalities.

The former Today host Karl Stefanovic rents there, too.

Today’s co-host Georgie Gardner recently spent $6 million on a Beauty Point home.

Barr’s long-time colleague Mark Berretta, who began presenting Seven Early News sport in 2008 alongside Barr, has also called Mosman home for many years.
