Hollywood actor Rebel Wilson was extra busy on the property front during her recent trip back to Sydney.

For starters the Pitch Perfect star has just added to her home town real estate portfolio.

There were renovations to her Birchgrove harbourfront to oversee.

Plus a tenant to find for her Gladesville investment apartment.

Wilson recently settled on an apartment in the Parkes Residences in Balmain (top), a conversion of a historic mansion, following its three year completion. The New York-inspired terrace homes sit on the fringe of Punch Park.

Wilson paid $1.88 million off the plan back in late 2015 for the two bedroom apartment on Reynolds Street, with the settlement just in time for her trip down under from LA's Hollywood Hills.

The two level apartment spanning 150 sqm has a terrace and two balconies in the new section of the building, adjoining the heritage listed block.

She bought the Balmain property on the same weekend three years ago that she bought another off the plan property in Gladesville (below).

The two bedroom Gladesville garden apartment that features a private courtyard with small lawn has just been put up for rent, asking $660 a week.

She is still awaiting tenants.

Her Sydney base, harbourside in Birchgrove, is undergoing a $900,000 renovation.

She has owned the 1900s freestanding Victorian since 2014 when she paid $3.76 million for the three bedroom home on the water.

Wilson shared a photo of the view from the rear terrace on Instagram, showing the renovation.

The home had previously been lived in by Wilson's nurse sister Annachi, with whom she recently attended an auction with to help her buy a home.

It was one of the Millers Point terraces part of the New South Wales government sell-off.

Annachi was outbid in the dying stages of the auction for the three bedroom Lower Fort Street terrace, which sold for $2.71 million to a local young family wanting to buy in the area.

Wilson moved to Hollywood in 2011 and the same year was cast as the sister of Matt Lucas character in the hit rom com Bridesmaids.

Last year she spent around $3.85 million on a paparazzi proof apartment in the former Manhattan book bindery in New York's Tribeca area.

The likes of Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel and Jennifer Lawrence reportedly also bought into the block.
