Architect Bayden Goddard's own home on the Gold Coast has been listed for sale with a revised $4.9 million price tag.

Of course designed by the Melbourne-born architect, the waterfront on the Isle of Capri sits in the tightly held Adam's Basin.

It was acquired by wife Jill for $3 million in 2007 when she bought it from photographer Louise Wolbers.

Spanning 550 sqm of living space, the home has five bedrooms, four bathroom, multiple living areas, an alfresco dining pavilion and a 12 metre swimming pool with separate spa.

There's a 27 metre sandy beach on the 915 sqm waterfront parcel. A pontoon is located just off the beach.

Kollosche Prestige Boardbeach agent Michael Kollosche has the listing.
