Sydney glamour couple Buddy and Jesinta Franklin have bought the Swans star's father, Lance senior, a $340,000 property in Perth's Yanchep.

As Buddy Franklin shuffles his interstate property portfolio, the Rose Bay couple did well on their purchase as it had previously sold for $375,000 in 2016.

The coastal Yanchep home (above and below), 50 kilometres north of Perth, had been on the market for 150 days after it was initially listed with $379,000 plus hopes.

Built in 2004, the four bedroom property on 570 sqm has a separate games room at the rear of the property.

Buddy Franklin, who migrated to Melbourne from his home state of Western Australian in 2005 to play with the Hawks, is also selling his Melbourne investment property.

Franklin Snr had been living in the property that was bought when he was with the Hawks.

Buddy paid $863,500 for the Donvale home, 20 kilometres east of Melbourne, 10 years ago, in the same year when he picked up the 2008 AFL premiership and the Coleman Medal as the top goal scorer over the season.

The four bedroom, three bathroom 2000-built home marketed as a Palladian-inspired executive home has a guide of $1.4 million to $1.5 million for its November 10 auction.

When he moved to Sydney, Franklin paid $2.35 million for the couple's Rose Bay home, which they painted a striking charcoal colour last year, shortly before recently spending $60,000 adding a lap pool to the rear of the 305 sqm parcel.

In 2014 he secured $1.73 million when his contemporary Brighton East house was sold having bought the house in late 2010 for $1,635,000

They sold their 29 ha wheat farm on Rabbit Proof Fence Road, Minnivale, 160 kilometres from Perth, in 2003 at $79,500.

His father Lance was a good footballer from Melbourne, and also played hockey for Victoria, before moving aged 21 to Perth.
