Former Collingwood player Jason Cloke and wife Nicole have sold their Williamstown home before its weekend auction.

The couple, who are moving their family to Queensland, had $3.03 million to $3.2 million hopes for the contemporary home that Jason renovated himself.

They had paid $1,565,000 in 2015 for the traditional 1910 Victorian cottage that now has five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a state of the art kitchen.

Cloke added a second level dedicated solely to the master retreat.

The rear pool has been extended and is now solar and gas heated.

There's a two hole putting green adjoining the man cave in the four car garage.

Greg Hocking Elly Partners agents Leigh Melbourne and Wayne Elly secured the pre-auction sale.

Cloke, who now runs a carpentry business, spent four years with Collingwood, following in the footsteps of their father David Cloke who was also a Richmond star.
