A luxury hinterland home in the Tweed Shire in northern New South Wales has hit the market.

The private acreage in Carool, 15 kilometres inland from the Gold Coast airport, was built in 2011 after the 10 hectare estate was bought for $670,000 four years earlier.

There are four hectares of pure natural bushland.

The vendors engaged Warren Coyle to build the home, divided in to two wings.

It was designed with sustainability in mind, positioned due north to catch the sunshine through the day and the fresh breezes.

The master suite is housed in one wing, complete with walk-in-robe, ensuite and home office.

Two more bedrooms make up the other wing that also features a gym.

They are divided by the main living areas. The designer kitchen meets the combined living and dining space which opens to the outdoor entertaining area and infinity pool.

An insulated wine cellar sits beside the garage.

Sophie Carter at Sophie Carter Exclusive Properties has the listing.
