Real estate disrupter The Agency has announced another $3.8 million loss, the same loss as last year.

The company reaffirmed its longheld intentions to proceed with the acquisition of the McGrath rebels outfit, Top Level Real Estate.

Details on Top Level sales activity were advised, noting since March 2017 Top level has recorded 693 sales with a value of $1.48 billion.

Top Level also has 3300 property under management.

Top Level now has 160 staff.

In April this year it had 90 staff, some 3380 properties under management, along with 390 sales, totalling around $695 million over the prior 12 plus months.

As at June last year, Top Level had 32 agents, 65 properties under management and 97 sales.

The financial update saw the Perth based company tell the ASX their Perth-based agencies achieved record revenues of $16.8 million, more than 75 percent up year on year as at June 2018.

They suggested the rise in revenue from $9.6 million last year was both organic growth, and via sales agent recruitment and agency acquisitions.

The Agency hired 185 sales agents to their offices and Sell Lease Property division, up from 50 from last year.

The Agency managing director Paul Niardone said the company was in a sustained growth phase.

“The Agency, which has only been operating for two years, is in a sustained growth phase and therefore has made significant investment in expanding its business, even though organic growth via recruitment had played a major part we have invested in acquisitions, in technology and in our people and processes,” Niardone said.

“We have also used our cashflows to fund the establishment and staffing of two offices, one in Albert Park in Victoria and on the Gold Coast, which we believe will add revenue to our business in future financial years.

“In a market where real estate companies are contracting or seeing little to no growth, we are achieving strong revenue growth across all business units in our Group.

"We are confident that this will continue via organic growth which is driven by recruitment due to the attractiveness of our model.

"This combined with strategic acquisitions and the planned merging of Top Level (The Agency East Coast) will continue to contribute future high growth ,” he added.

The Agency was awarded Top Office for Listings Sold and Top Office by Value Sold in Western Australia for 2018 at the annual REIWA.com Awards, held on Saturday 25th August 2018 in Perth.

It reported 667 sales worth over $400 million for the past 12 months.

Shares rose in trade this morning from 0.014 to 0.016, a rise of 14 percent.

The company was listed in late 2016 on the ASX.
