Having spent $12 million on a Cremorne waterfront, the entrepreneurial fund manager James Spenceley and wife Viktoria have listed their former Mosman residence with $7 million hopes.

The Airtasker chairman spent $4.3 million on the 1920s Beauty Point home in 2013, shortly before he was named on the Young Rich List with a fortune of $22 million.

The home in 985 square metres of landscaped gardens has six bedrooms, a home office, wine cellar and gym.

The outdoor terraces overlook the swimming pool and have panoramic views across Middle Harbour and Quakers Bay.

McGrath Mosman agents Michael Coombs and John Melville are marketing the home with a $7 million guide.

Spenceley founded Vocus Communications, Australia's fourth-largest telco, in 2007.

He recently co-founded MHOR Asset Management.
