Sidelined Sydney Rooster Luke Keary has kept himself occupied as he recuperates from knee ligament damage.

The star halfback is upgrading to Dover Heights with wife, Amy.

They have paid around $2.7 million for a home.

The upgrade explains the recent listing of his two bedroom apartment in Mascot.

The three bedroom, two bathroom 1930s Dover Heights home comes with district views.

It had been updated since it last traded at $1.9 million in 2014.

It has an entertainers deck overlooking the landscaped garden.

McGrath Edgecliff agents Will and Sally Manning sold the home having which had a guide of $2.7 million to $2.9 million.

Keary's Mascot apartment was bought in 2014 when he was with Roosters rivals South Sydney Rabbitohs.

He paid $690,000 for the apartment in the 2010 built Rina complex.

He has it listed seeking offers between $900,000 and $920,000 through Infinity Property agent Michael Kurosawa.

Keary also recently offloaded his Camp Hill Investment Property just outside of Brisbane for $760,000. The four bedroom home had been a $645 a week rental.

Keary began his career at South Sydney in 2013, but left after a bust-up with Rabbitohs co-owner Russell Crowe.
